AECOM is seeking a Principal Ecologist to join our Nature team across multiple UK locations, including Newcastle, Manchester, Cambridge, Liverpool, Basingstoke, Croydon, Leeds, Nottingham and St Albans. Qualifications

• Experience leading ecological surveys/licensing/impact assessment.
• Experience in work-winning, managing projects and budgets.
• Experience reviewing technical work and guiding team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services.
• Oversee planning and resources for ecological projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Develop robust solutions to complex ecological issues.
• Lead ecology chapters for statements and licences.
• Author or check project deliverables for quality outputs.
• Support development of technical capabilities.
