Job summary

Certain Advantage is recruiting on behalf of an established UK engineering client to hire Senior/Principal EC&I Engineers on a contract basis for important nuclear projects. You will work across the product lifecycle, delivering EC&I designs within a regulated environment.

The role requires experience in EC&I design, control systems, and budget monitoring, with the ability to translate high-level requirements into validated electrical designs and manage design phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in EC&I design.
• Knowledge of control systems, design phases, and configuration management
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally nuclear

Responsibilities

• Take part in or fully manage EC&I technical programmes covering the entire product lifecycle, depending on level
• Design and implement electrical designs to meet design inputs
• Analyse and translate high-level requirements into a validated design for the electrical system or component
• Monitor tasks and implement protocols
• Help establish budgets for EC&I programmes
• Track work pack budgets, forecast, and monitor actual costs versus projections
