Job summary

NUVIA seeks a Senior/Principal EC&I Engineer to lead the scope, design, and delivery of safety‑critical electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering for nuclear, defence and energy projects in the UK. You will supervise up to five engineers, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with CDM and safety regulations.

• Essential: Degree in a relevant technical/engineering discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Define and distribute scope of work to ensure safe, on-time delivery and quality.
• Supervise a design/project team and manage engineering resources.
• Manage subcontracts and cost, progress, and quality within the project.
• Coordinate with clients and other disciplines, providing technical consultancy and safety leadership.
