As project activity continues to grow across the sector, we are looking to connect with talented EC&I professionals at all levels, from Designer through to Principal Engineer, to support the delivery of new build, decommissioning, waste management, plant modification and life-extension projects.
Whether you are an EC&I Designer looking to build your design experience, an Engineer ready to take ownership of defined work packages, a Senior Engineer seeking greater technical responsibility, or a Principal Engineer ready to lead technically complex scopes, we would like to hear from you.
The UK nuclear sector is entering a sustained period of investment and delivery, creating long-term opportunities for Electrical, Control and Instrumentation professionals across both existing facilities and new nuclear developments.

Opportunities are available across the engineering lifecycle, including concept design, FEED, detailed design, installation, commissioning, operation, modification and decommissioning.
Depending on your experience and level, responsibilities may include:
Typically responsible for producing drawings, schematics, layouts and supporting design documentation, alongside walkdowns, design updates and engineering work packages.
Responsible for defined EC&I design scopes and work packages, including calculations, specifications, drawings, assessments and design documentation.
Responsible for technically complex scopes, checking and reviewing engineering outputs, supporting junior staff and acting as a key interface with clients and project teams.
Provides technical leadership across EC&I scopes and projects, including design assurance, governance, technical reviews, multidisciplinary coordination and senior client engagement.
We are interested in candidates with experience in areas such as: EC&I design, Electrical power distribution, Instrumentation and control systems, Building electrical services, Cable sizing, routing and containment, Control panels and MCCs, Electrical schematics and single-line diagrams, Instrumentation specification, Plant modifications and new build engineering, Nuclear, defence, energy, process or other highly regulated industries.
Experience of delivering both electrical and instrumentation designs would be particularly beneficial.

Relevant experience will be considered alongside formal qualifications.
Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Trimble ProDesign, AVEVA E&I, IET Wiring Regulations, CDM Regulations, design substantiation, site surveys, commissioning support or major capital projects would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants may be required to obtain or maintain appropriate security clearance.
