Job summary

Wates is seeking a Principal Digital Construction Manager to lead our regional Digital Construction function and shape the division’s digital engineering strategy. You will provide governance across multiple projects, champion data-led delivery, and drive best practice in digital construction with a Tier 1 contractor background.

You will build and mentor a regional team, deliver digital strategies, and collaborate with design, operations and technical stakeholders to maximise project performance

Qualifications

• Experience leading Digital Construction, BIM and information management teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry best practice.
• Experience managing high-performing digital teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Understanding of construction project delivery with digital technologies.

You'll ideally have:

• Extensive experience in Digital Construction, BIM and Information Management leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry best practice.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing digital teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• A strong understanding of construction project delivery and the application of digital technologies.
• Experience implementing digital strategies across complex programmes or project portfolios.
