Job summary

Building Careers UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Digital Construction Manager to drive BIM and information management standards across tender, pre-construction and live projects.

You will lead digital construction delivery across multiple projects, collaborating with operational, design and commercial teams to promote digital innovation and improve project outcomes while maintaining high-quality information throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND in a relevant subject, demonstrable BIM/digital delivery background.
• Proven experience managing projects in design, digital or BIM roles.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 information management standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadline focus.
• Experience using digital coordination and model review software.
• Experience with platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC Build, Solibri, CostX, Synchro, Twinmotion or Lumion.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital construction delivery across several projects.
• Implement and manage BIM processes per ISO 19650.
• Develop project-specific digital execution plans and information strategies.
• Coordinate 3D model reviews and multidisciplinary design coordination.

A long-established national building contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across a diverse range of construction sectors is looking to appoint an experienced Digital Construction Manager to join its team.

With decades of experience delivering complex projects across the UK, the business has built a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration and investing in modern construction methods. Digital delivery sits at the heart of its approach, and you'll play a key role in driving BIM and information management standards across both pre-construction and live projects, helping project teams embrace new technologies and improve project outcomes.

The Role

Working across multiple projects, you will lead the implementation of digital construction processes from tender stage through to project handover. You'll work closely with operational, design and commercial teams to improve collaboration, streamline project delivery and promote digital innovation across the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading digital construction delivery across several projects.
• Implementing and managing BIM processes in line with ISO 19650.
• Developing project-specific digital execution plans and information management strategies.
• Coordinating 3D model reviews and supporting multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Providing guidance and training to project teams on digital tools and best practice.
• Supporting the rollout of new digital technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring high-quality digital information is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong technical understanding of BIM and digital construction who enjoys working collaboratively across project teams.

You will ideally have:

• Minimum HND in a relevant subject
• Proven experience managing projects in a Design, Digital or BIM related role
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 information management standards.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining a deadline focus.
• Experience using digital coordination and model review software.
• Experience with platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Build), Solibri, CostX, Synchro, Twinmotion or Lumion would be advantageous.
