Gearset Ltd. is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join a product-driven team responsible for scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. You will work across multiple regions with a modern tech stack (Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, .NET) to enable rapid feature releases and robust operations.

You will lead the evolution of our multi-tenant infrastructure, collaborate with developers and designers, and contribute to governance and security improvements across Gearset’s SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Deep AWS experience including VPC networking and security, IAM, EC2, Postgres RDS, S3, EKS.
• Experience running production-level services in Kubernetes and managing clusters.
• Practical experience automating infrastructure with Terraform.
• Experience in configuring and running a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience supporting operation of hosted, multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
• Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve work.
• Pragmatic, iterative approach prioritising value over process.

• Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for an ever-growing user base and support a high autonomy team.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure application and infrastructure work in harmony and changes roll out safely.
• Lead security initiatives to fortify measures and protect customer data.
• Work with Gearset teams to deliver infrastructure that supports impactful work across the org.
• Contribute expertise to a collaborative, self-directed team with autonomy over its roadmap and practices.
