Job summary

Gearset is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join a product-driven team built on trust and tight feedback loops. You’ll operate multi-region infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, advancing security, automation, and scalable releases.

You’ll own the technical roadmap, collaborate across engineering, data, and sales, and drive improvements that support rapid growth while maintaining reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and EKS.
• Proven ability to run production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience operating hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
• Strong collaboration and feedback culture.
• Pragmatic, iterative delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve scalable multi-tenant infrastructure and support growth.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure safe, harmonious rollouts of changes.
• Lead security initiatives to protect customer data across regions.
• Build automation for frequent, safe releases to production several times daily.
• Contribute to an autonomous team with roadmap ownership and practices.
