You will be part of the Delivery Team at TPXimpact, reporting directly to the Heads of Delivery Management.

The Principal Delivery Manager role is critical to TPXimpact’s Delivery Team, forming a key part of our skills and development pathway to build and retain a strong delivery capability. As a Principal Delivery Manager, you will be an authority in your domain as a senior member of TPXimpact’s delivery team. You will lead and be responsible throughout the entire digital product lifecycle, with greater responsibility and accountability as TPXimpact’s main point of escalation for clients. Responsibilities

A Principal Delivery Manager is accountable for team performance. In this role, you will:

1. Be accountable for the successful delivery of your team, managing client expectations while working closely with Partners to ensure project success. In some cases, you may lead project delivery without a Partner or Sponsor support.
2. Build and maintain multidisciplinary delivery teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborative, and effective.
3. Support management and growth of client accounts, seeking opportunities to expand revenues through project extensions or new opportunities, liaising with Client Services, Engineering, and Design teams as needed.
4. Represent TPXimpact’s delivery principles through public speaking, writing, and contributing to external delivery communities.
5. Lead in developing delivery methodology and promoting Agile practices within client organizations and TPXimpact divisions.
6. Support the development of technical delivery practices, including release management, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
7. Lead agile coaching efforts to help clients adopt appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques.
8. Assist in product coaching, user-centered design, and technical delivery to apply suitable tools and techniques.
9. Support the professional development of delivery managers and senior delivery managers.
10. Communicate effectively the value of the delivery role to digital and non-digital stakeholders.
11. Implement TPXimpact’s delivery approach to a high standard.
12. Promote effective cross-functional delivery with other capability areas like Design, Engineering, and Product.
13. Identify and help overcome obstacles, promoting continuous improvement.
14. Ensure activities and priorities align with strategic outcomes such as SOWs, V2MOM, and CoP best practices.
15. Encourage continuous improvement in client projects.
16. Participate in resourcing meetings and provide project and resource updates for planning.
17. Attend project check-ins to provide updates on your projects.
18. Manage multiple client projects effectively.
19. Collaborate with Client Services to monitor project performance and address issues.
20. Ensure delivery values are integrated into project bids.
21. Support case study development and sharing within and outside TPXimpact.
22. Assist in drafting proposals, collaborating with delivery and sales teams.
23. Support the Delivery leadership team as needed.
24. Work with Partners to define project and account strategies, ensuring they guide project delivery.
25. Build relationships with other Principals in Design and Engineering for consistent delivery approaches.
26. Contribute to the Delivery Community of Practice with new insights and tools.
