An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high-profile data science team. The insurance industry is evolving in an age of rapid technological development, and as an organisation Aviva are investing in strengthening machine learning and analytics as a distinctive capability. The team is recognised as a centre of excellence in our Global Data Science Department - providing new data-driven insights that improve decision making across the Aviva Group.
You will be a data science leader within the Personal Lines business. You will be working closely with stakeholders across the Personal Lines business to understand the challenges being faced and then lead on the execution of innovative data science solutions to drive better business and customer outcomes for our Retail business. You will build an excellent understanding of the business, its strategy, and its objectives. You will lead a team focussed on delivering solutions to support those objectives and exercise license to be creative in exploring new and innovative ways of generating value from data.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of being a data science leader within the Pricing & UW Analytics field of personal lines insurance.
