Aviva in Norwich/Perth (UK) seeks a Head of Data Engineering to lead and transform the data landscape for Commercial Lines. You will shape data strategy, build high-performing teams and partner across the Group to enable analytics, AI and GenAI initiatives.
You will drive data governance, quality and regulatory compliance while delivering scalable cloud-based data platforms and engineering practices.

As Head of Data Engineering, you will lead a talented engineering community and shape the continued evolution of our data capabilities. Working as a key member of the Data and Analytics Leadership Team, you will bring together people, technology and strategy to build the foundations on which Commercial Lines can grow and innovate. You will work across the business to influence our direction and ensure data is at the heart of how we deliver for our customers.
This is a pivotal leadership role, combining strategic ambition with the opportunity to make a tangible difference. You will build a high-performing engineering organisation, create the conditions for analytics, AI and GenAI to thrive and help unlock greater value from our data. As part of the wider Commercial Lines leadership community, you will also partner across the Group and with technology leaders to drive growth, efficiency and responsible innovation.
