Oracle’s Software Assurance organization aims to make application security and software assurance scalable. We are a diverse team of architects, researchers, and engineers working on a greenfield software assurance project.

Work You’ll Do

We are seeking a Security Data Analyst to design and develop platforms analyzing large datasets for security and compliance, leveraging cybersecurity expertise to identify threats and integrate secure coding practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in software/platform development/engineering across web, mobile, back end, ad tech, or analytics dataflows.
• Experience in data management, building automated, scalable data platforms.
• Skills in handling large datasets and designing maintainable systems.
• Strong API development background (REST, gRPC).
• Programming in Python, Go, Java, or similar.
• Knowledge of data science concepts and tooling (Jupyter, pandas, etc.).
• Experience with security tools like Postman, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.
• Understanding of database systems like MySQL.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards.
• Performance optimization for mobile apps.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OCI cloud services.
• Knowledge of machine learning or AI in security.
• Agile methodology and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of Software Assurance programs.
