Job summary

Amentum is seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team across the UK offices, including Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington. You will lead CS&A engineers and deliver civil/structural design for safety-critical projects.

You will work in a collaborative, regulated environment, using British and international standards and Eurocodes, and you will coordinate with delivery partners to ensure on-time, compliant outcomes across varied

Qualifications

• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering or Chartered Civil/Structural status required.
• Solid technical design expertise using British/international standards or Eurocodes.
• Proven track record delivering engineering projects.
• Experience working within regulated quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation, and delivery of specified functional works that achieve safety, functional, and business requirements.
• Delivery of civil, structural engineering design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures, and specialised Nuclear facilities.
• Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.)
