Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join our UK team. This hybrid role supports multiple office locations including Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

You will work with a team of experienced CS&A engineers and architects to deliver civil and structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel structures, nuclear facilities and related infrastructure while interfacing with key Delivery Partners and the design team.

Qualifications

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
• Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery.
• Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system.

Responsibilities

• Working in a team of highly experienced CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
• Delivery of the civil, structural Engineering Design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities.
• Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.)
