Job summary
Bristol-based principal civil/structural engineer role with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy.
You will lead technical delivery across a portfolio of buildings, mentor engineers, review designs, and liaise with clients to confirm scope.

Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience designing structures, ideally in a design consultancy.
- Experience with buildings sector (commercial, education, residential, healthcare) preferred.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor technical delivery across projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget results.
- Mentor and develop senior engineers, engineers and technicians with action plans and training.
- Review designs and take a hands-on role on complex solutions.
- Carry out site inspections and prepare reports.
- Develop new business by meeting clients and nurturing relationships.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to confirm scope and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with standards, quality, safety, environmental and sustainability procedures.
