Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Principal/Associate Civil Engineer in Bristol to lead infrastructure design for residential and mixed-use developments. You will oversee highways, drainage and site levels, manage delivery, budgets and teams, and secure technical approvals with clients and authorities.

The role requires Chartered status or progress toward it, a strong residential development background, and hands-on design using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroDrainage.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering with 6+ years’ experience.
• Chartered or working towards ICE or equivalent.
• Strong background in residential development infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed infrastructure designs for highways, drainage and site levels.
• Manage project delivery, budgets and team resourcing.
• Drive technical approvals and client engagement.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
• Collaborate with clients and approving bodies.
• Produce designs with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroDrainage.
