Aldwych Consulting in Leeds is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead civil infrastructure design projects and client engagements. The role covers the full lifecycle from planning through detailed design and construction, with emphasis on technical delivery and ownership of projects.

You will prepare Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies, supervise drainage design with Civil 3D/Causeway Flow/MicroDrainage, and manage planning submissions and client relationships.

Formación

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng).
• Experience in civil engineering or multi-disciplinary consultancy.
• Background in development infrastructure and civil design.
• Experience with drainage design and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Causeway Flow and/or MicroDrainage.
• Knowledge of planning processes and technical agreements (S104, S38, S278).
• Experience managing projects, client relationships and delivery.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver civil engineering and infrastructure design across full development lifecycle.
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
• Undertake drainage design using Civil 3D, Causeway Flow and/or MicroDrainage.
• Manage technical submissions, planning consents and agreements (S104/S38/S278/S185).
• Act as key contact for clients and project teams.
• Manage project delivery, programmes, fees and appointments.
• Attend client meetings, stakeholder discussions and site visits.
• Delegate work, oversee junior engineers, provide mentoring.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
