Job summary

Kingdom & Partners in the North West region seeks a Principal Civil Engineer (CEng) to lead technically and commercially with a strong client base and geo-structural design expertise.

You will act as technical authority, review complex civil and geo-structural solutions, and mentor engineers while helping to win and deliver projects across the North West and Midlands. The role is full-time with hybrid working.

Qualifications

Chartered Civil Engineer with CEng/MICE or equivalent.
Strong UK consultancy background with demonstrable client following.
Practical understanding of construction sequencing, risk, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Act as technical authority and reviewer for civil and geo-structural design.
Lead and sign off complex multi disciplinary engineering solutions.
Bring existing client relationships and actively generate new work.
Lead client meetings, fee proposals, and project strategy.
Apply practical construction experience to deliver buildable solutions.
Mentor senior and junior engineers.
Support wider business development and regional growth.
