Job summary

Kingdom & Partners in the North West region seeks a Principal Civil Engineer (CEng) to lead technically and commercially with a strong client base and geo-structural design expertise.

You will act as technical authority, review complex civil and geo-structural solutions, and mentor engineers while helping to win and deliver projects across the North West and Midlands. The role is full-time with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with CEng/MICE or equivalent.
• Strong UK consultancy background with demonstrable client following.
• Practical understanding of construction sequencing, risk, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority and reviewer for civil and geo-structural design.
• Lead and sign off complex multi disciplinary engineering solutions.
• Bring existing client relationships and actively generate new work.
• Lead client meetings, fee proposals, and project strategy.
• Apply practical construction experience to deliver buildable solutions.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers.
• Support wider business development and regional growth.

Education
