Job summary

AECOM's Civils Team is seeking a Principal Civil Design Engineer to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across commercial and residential developments, providing project management expertise while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Our Business Unit is multidisciplinary, spanning civil, highway, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, architects, project managers and surveyors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Civil Engineer status or nearing Chartership (MICE).
• Significant experience with design of highways, drainage and project infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical leadership to teams, programming workloads and delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality.
• Lead the design and delivery of highways, drainage and associated infrastructure for complex developments.
• Undertake project management responsibilities across a portfolio of schemes.
• Support business development activities within the unit to secure new work.
