WSP's Exeter office is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the Bridges Team, delivering design, assessment and inspection schemes for local authority clients in the Southwest. Hybrid working allows for in-office and home working.

You will manage portfolios, coordinate with UK and international teams, and support junior staff, with Chartered Engineer status desired and a track record in bridge design and project leadership.

Competenze

• Anticipated Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status.
• Passion for projects that benefit local communities.
• Knowledge of bridge design, maintenance, strengthening, inspection and supervision.

Mansioni

• Lead projects through their life cycle from inception to construction.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to deliver compliant designs on time and budget.
• Prepare and review reports, calculations, drawings and schedules to local procedures.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and internationally.
• Provide line management and coach junior team members.
