Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, is seeking a Primary Years SEMH Support Assistant to work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs. The role is based on a day rate of £92.59 and operates Monday to Friday during term time.

You will support pupils in and out of the classroom, build positive relationships, assist with behaviour management, and collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to create a nurturing, therapeutic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• Calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships.
• Must have a driver’s licence with access to a vehicle due to the rural location.
• Must have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa.

We are currently recruiting Primary SEMH Support Assistants to join a specialist SEMH primary school in Haywards Heath, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them engage with learning in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
