Job summary

Pink Tile Education is recruiting Pupil Engagement Mentors to join a specialist SEMH school in Guildford. The role focuses on engagement, relationships and emotional support rather than traditional teaching, and is suitable for candidates from education, youth work, care, coaching or support backgrounds.

You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, build trust, encourage engagement and independence, help with emotional regulation, and work with teachers and pastoral staff to meet needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour and supporting emotional regulation.
• A strong communicator who can build genuine relationships.
• Passionate about making a positive difference to young people's lives.
• A full UK driving licence holder with access to a vehicle.

Pink Tile Education is recruiting Pupil Engagement Mentorsto join a specialist SEMH school in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with young people and helping them feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

The role is less focused on traditional classroom teaching and more about engagement, relationships and emotional support, making it ideal for candidates from education, youth work, care, coaching or support backgrounds.

The Role

Experience in education, youth work, residential care, support work, coaching or similar settings would be highly desirable.
