Job summary

Class Act is sourcing a Primary Teaching Assistant for flexible day-to-day supply across a range of primary settings in London. The role supports learning, well-being, and pupil engagement under teacher direction, with opportunities to gain experience across EYFS to KS2.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Primary Teaching Assistant role or in a primary school setting.
  • Positive, patient and supportive approach to working with children.
  • Confidence supporting pupils across different age groups and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development.

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and engagement.
  • Represent Step Teachers professionally while working as a Primary Teaching Assistant.
