Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leigh on a long-term supply basis, supporting a Year 3 class.

You will work with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support individuals and small groups, and assist with preparation and resource management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with varying learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
