Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in Trafford primary schools, with locations across Sale and Altrincham. Hours are 8.30am–3.30pm and the contract is temporary (flexible supply), starting ASAP.

You will provide general classroom support and, when needed, tailored SEN interventions. Required: Right to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS, two references, and a CV with gaps explained. Previous UK school experience preferred; TA qualifications desirable.

Pay: GBP92.63 - GBP120 per day depending on qualifications and experience

Prospero Teaching is looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Trafford primary schools. We are interested in hearing from candidates with relevant qualifications in addition to those with prior experience working in schools.

Responsibilities will include providing general classroom support and/or tailored SEN interventions depending on the needs of the school/pupils.

Primary Teaching Assistant - requirements

• Hold Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available
• Hold an Enhanced Child DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years, including any appropriate child-related work experience
• Appropriate CV history including mention of any employment/studying gaps
• Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable (experience will be considered)
• SEN/SEMH Awareness desirable
• Previous experience working in a UK school, ideally up to at least 6 months
• Updated training including safeguarding, prevent and allergy + anaphylaxis training (desirable however not essential as training is provided)
