Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across Wythenshawe. You will provide classroom support, offer 1:1 assistance, and engage in wider school activities while flexible supply contracts are available.

The role requires a Level 3 TA qualification, Right to Work in the UK, and an Enhanced DBS; references and safeguarding training are expected, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Hold Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years, including any appropriate child-related work experience.
• Appropriate CV history including mention of any employment/studying gaps.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• SEN/SEMH Awareness desirable.
• Previous experience working in a UK school, ideally up to at least 6 months.
• Updated training including safeguarding, prevent and allergy training (desirable).

Responsibilities

Prospero Teaching is looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Wythenshawe.

Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of primary schools in South Manchester. We are currently looking for Level 3 Teaching Assistants to lead interventions and provide adhoc class cover when required. There may also be some long-term opportunities available.

Prospero Teaching work with both experienced Teaching Assistants and those first embarking on their career in education by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.
