Job summary

Vision for Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Peterborough and surrounding villages, supporting pupils in 1-1 and small groups across various year groups.

These roles are temporary/flexible with potential to become long-term or permanent. They are full-time positions with DBS checks, and Vision for Education provides ongoing support and resources for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or similar setting in last 3 years (6 months minimum).
• TA qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience with children with SEND.
• Passion for working in education.
• Full enhanced DBS clearance.
• Two recent references available.
• Full-time role; access to a car essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1-1 or small group basis.
• Assist in primary classrooms across year groups.
• Adapt approach to learners with SEND.
• Be reliable and proactive in busy classrooms.
