Job summary

Mana Education is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Peterborough and surrounding areas across specialist SEND schools and mainstream settings.

Ideal candidates include experienced TAs or LSAs, but roles are also suitable for those starting a rewarding career in education. We offer day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent opportunities with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in UK schools.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach in challenging settings.
• Excellent communication skills with pupils, parents and staff.
• Qualifications as a Teaching Assistant are welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 with learning tasks and objectives.
• Work with small intervention groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist classroom learning and behaviour management strategies.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and independence.
