Job summary

Aspire People is seeking experienced Primary School Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to support learning across welcoming primary schools. Roles can be full-time or part-time with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

You will work with class teachers, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help children access learning in an inclusive environment. A DBS update is desirable, and ongoing consultant support is provided.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
• For SEN roles, support children with additional needs, helping them access learning in a positive and inclusive environment.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is essential.

• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Must be available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
