Job summary

Aspire People is seeking Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with competitive daily rates and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Ideal candidates will have experience in primary education or SEN, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with teachers and pupils. Roles run from 8:30am to 3:30pm, across local schools in the area.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or supporting children with SEN is essential.
• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Must be available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
• For SEN roles, support children with additional needs, helping them access learning in a positive and inclusive environment.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
