Job summary

TeacherActive is working with mainstream primary schools across Wakefield and Bradford to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Primary LSA staff. You will support pupils across the primary age range, assisting the class teacher with learning activities and providing individual or small-group support where required.

We offer flexible day-to-day work with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions within our schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar setting.
• Strong communication skills with pupils and staff.

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £80 - 100 per day

We are looking for a Primary LSA to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions within our schools. The successful Primary LSA will support pupils across the primary age range, assisting the class teacher with learning activities and providing individual or small-group support where required.

The successful Primary LSA will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable


• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar setting


• Experience supporting pupils individually and in small groups


• Strong communication skills


• A positive 'can-do' attitude


• Flexibility and adaptability
