Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Primary School in Harrogate to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant for short-term day-to-day cover. You will support pupils across KS2, assisting with classroom learning and SATs preparation.

We seek an enthusiastic and adaptable practitioner with a relevant TA qualification or equivalent, and a patient approach. Salary is paid per day, with ongoing CPD and rapid onboarding. DBS compliance and safeguarding are standard.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children across KS2.
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation.
• Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS2 and assist with classroom learning.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Harrogate who are looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive mainstream learning environment and is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable practitioner who can positively support pupils throughout KS2.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for short-term day-to-day cover, with an immediate start. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support children across KS2, assisting with classroom learning and providing targeted support to pupils preparing for their SATs.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desired but not essential
• Experience supporting children across KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
