Randstad Education is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support KS1/KS2 pupils across West Sussex or Surrey. You will work alongside class teachers, running small-group interventions and 1:1 support to boost confidence and literacy/numeracy skills.

This role offers flexible working patterns (full-time or daily shifts) with competitive weekly pay (£90-£105 per day) and a local consultant to assist placement, schedule, and timesheets via an online booking app.

Qualificações

• Proven experience supporting primary school-aged children in educational settings.
• Good understanding of KS1 & KS2 curriculum.
• Patient, approachable communication style.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to complete one).

Requirements

Must-Haves (Essential)

• Proven experience supporting primary school-aged children in an educational, childcare, or youth setting.
• Good foundational understanding of the primary curriculum (KS1 & KS2).
• Patient, approachable, and proactive communication style.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young pupils and teaching teams.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent degree).
• Prior experience running early phonics, reading, or math interventions.
• Understanding of standard classroom behavior management strategies.
