Job summary

About the role:

This full-time role is due to commence in September, with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on meeting the needs of pupils with SEND and ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons adapted to meet a range of SEN needs
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
• Working closely with the SENDCO and support staff to implement and review individual support plans

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN within a primary classroom setting
• A strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
