Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Newham, East London. You will deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs within an inclusive learning environment.

The role requires QTS or an equivalent qualification, experience in SEN/SEND, and the ability to differentiate for varied abilities. You will collaborate with teaching assistants, families and other professionals to support EHCP outcomes and pupil development.

Qualifications

Are you a passionate Primary Teacher with experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs? We are currently seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to work in a mainstream Primary School in Newham.

We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who have previous experience working within an SEN/SEND school or specialist setting, as well as qualified teachers with SEN qualifications or strong experience supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Role

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, accessible and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.

You will work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, families and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
