Job summary

Beckfoot Trust and Dixons Academies Trust are seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our pool of supply staff across Bradford. Roles include day-to-day and long-term placements with flexible start dates, September 2026 or sooner by agreement.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have primary teaching experience, and demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management, excellent communication, and a proactive, flexible approach to supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
• Teach pre-planned lessons for day-to-day cover or plan and deliver lessons for longer-term placements.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement in line with school policies.
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Adapt confidently to different school settings, year groups, and pupil needs.
