Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a KS2 Primary School Teacher to cover across Bradford and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons to Years 3–6, maintain positive classroom behaviour, and adapt quickly to different school environments.

The role offers flexible day-to-day supply with opportunities for longer-term or permanent positions, competitive pay, and access to CPD. QTS and KS2 experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and have KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Proven ability to manage classrooms and behaviour effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cover across Bradford primary schools.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons for Years 3–6.
• Plan and deliver lessons for longer-term placements.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Support pupils with differing abilities and needs.

The successful KS2 Primary School Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching across KS2
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Confidence teaching core subjects including English and Maths
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A positive and professional approach to teaching
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable

The role may involve:

• Providing day-to-day cover across different Bradford primary schools
• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Years 3–6
• Planning and delivering lessons for longer-term placements
• Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Supporting pupils of different abilities and additional needs
• Working closely with teaching assistants and school staff
• Potential progression into long-term or permanent employment
