Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist educational setting where relationships, wellbeing, and personalised learning are at the heart of everything we do. As an KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children to achieve their individual educational, social, and emotional goals
  • Develop effective relationships with pupils, families, and professionals
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress to inform future learning
  • Contribute to individual learning plans and educational reviews
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through a nurturing approach

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within EYFS
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to build positive and supportive relationships with children and families
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs or who require specialist support would be advantageous.

Starting salary from £30,198 per annum (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience).
