Job summary

Supply Desk is working with a welcoming primary school in Chichester to recruit a Primary Teacher for October start. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, assessing pupil progress and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will have QTS or be an ECT, experience in a primary setting, and a passion for raising attainment while building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or are an ECT.
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Are committed to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Are enthusiastic, organised and adaptable.
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.

Start Date: October 2026

Pay: £170-£260 per day, depending on experience

Location: Southampton

Hours: 08:30-15:30

Supply Desk is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chichester, who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from October.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive classroom environment where children feel confident and supported.
