Job summary

Supply Desk is recruiting a SEND-focused primary teacher for the Andover area. The role runs on a full-time, 8-4 basis with October 2026 start and long-term contract.

You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to children with ADHD and Autism in a supportive environment, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning. The ideal candidate holds QTS, DBS update service registration (or willingness to apply), and is enthusiastic about inclusive teaching.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in primary provision.
• DBS check with update service or willingness to apply.
• Newly qualified teachers welcome to apply.
• Experience in primary SEND setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in a primary SEND setting.
• Create inclusive learning environments for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with school staff and specialists to support pupil progress.
• Attend and contribute to student progress meetings and planning.
