Job summary

TeacherActive is working with mainstream primary schools across Bradford who require experienced Primary LSA with strong phonics knowledge. The successful candidate will support classroom learning as well as individuals and small groups, using phonics to help pupils develop reading, decoding and literacy skills.

We are looking for a Primary LSA with phonics experience for flexible day-to-day work, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions becoming available within our schools. The successful Primary LSA will support classroom learning as well as individuals and small groups, using their knowledge of phonics to help pupils develop their reading, decoding and literacy skills.

The successful Primary LSA will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar setting
• Experience supporting or delivering phonics activities and interventions
• Confidence working with individuals and small groups
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, flexible and adaptable approach
