Job summary

Collingham LEH CofE Primary School is recruiting for a combined Teaching Assistant (TA) and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning in Key Stage 1 or 2. The role is permanent and term-time only, with TA hourly rates from £13.48 to £13.92 and HLTA from £18.44 to £19.47.

The successful candidate will work across year groups, cover PPA, and help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification required with proven TA experience in a primary school.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of teaching and learning in Key Stage 1 or 2.
• Cover PPA and release time for teachers across year groups.
• Promote inclusive, positive learning environments and high expectations.
