The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Collingham Lady Elizabeth Hastings Church of England VA Primary School. The role involves supporting learning in KS1 or KS2, covering planning and assessment, and filling short-notice absence across year groups.

There are two shifts, morning TA and afternoon HLTA, Monday to Friday. Visa sponsorship is not available and an enhanced DBS is required.

Qualificações

• HLTA qualification is required.
• Proven experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school.

Responsabilidades

• Cover PPA and release time for teachers across all year groups.
• Manage short-term and last-minute absence cover.
• Enhance pupil interaction, communication and educational needs.
• Report regularly to class teachers on pupil progress, achievements and challenges.
• Maintain a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Promote inclusion and set high expectations for all learners.
• Provide high-quality classroom cover and develop children's learning.

A combined Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant post at Collingham Lady Elizabeth Hastings Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School. The work supports teaching and learning in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, and includes covering planning, preparation and assessment time and short-notice absence across year groups.
