Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in Manchester. Immediate opportunities in full-time and part-time roles, with or without a formal TA qualification.

We value recent experience with children or young people and a proactive, relationship-building approach. Roles include 1:1 and small-group support, helping with reading, writing and maths, and aiding pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

Have you worked with children but don't have a formal Teaching Assistant qualification?

Aspire People are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in Manchester.

Now that schools are back for the new academic year, we're looking to speak with people who have recent experience working with children or young people and want to bring those skills into a school environment.

You don't necessarily need a TA qualification. We're interested in people who can demonstrate the right experience, attitude and ability to build positive relationships with children.

Your background could include youth work, tutoring, mentoring, childcare, sports coaching, children's activities or previous school-based work .

The Role May Include:

• Supporting pupils within the classroom
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting with Reading, Writing and Maths activities
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
• Helping children remain engaged with learning
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Encouraging confidence, independence and social development
