Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking flexible Primary Supply Teachers to cover near Sawston and South Cambridgeshire. Roles range from day-to-day cover to long-term placements across EYFS to KS2, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards.

The ideal candidate will have QTS, strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, excellent classroom management, and a DBS (Update Service) in place or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability in multiple primary settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Differentiate activities to support diverse needs including SEND.
• Leave clear handover notes for regular class teachers after day-to-day assignments.
• For long-term roles: plan, assess, and track progress; participate in meetings and engage with parents.

What We Look For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK equivalent.
