Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for Primary Supply Teacher roles in Woodbridge and surrounding areas. You can choose day-to-day cover for maximum schedule flexibility or opt for longer fixed-term placements that span a term or the full academic year.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, solid curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management, and a DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) to support safeguarding across local schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum or EYFS framework.
• Confident classroom management and an approachable teaching style.
• Adaptable, proactive mindset to work across different school environments.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum or EYFS framework across your preferred age groups.

• Differentiate learning tasks to challenge high achievers and support those who need help.
• Maintain strong classroom management and implement school behaviour policies.
• For long-term roles: take ownership of lesson planning, ongoing assessment, tracking pupil progress, and communicating with parents.
