Hays Education has a growing need for local 1-1 Teaching Assistants in SEN Schools across Northamptonshire for day-to-day and long-term supply.

We work with numerous schools across Northamptonshire, including Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, and surrounding areas. As a Teaching Assistant working through Hays, you'll have local work opportunities in your preferred areas, supporting schools of your choice.

Currently, we are recruiting for a Specialist Primary School in Northampton for children aged 4-11 with needs such as SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties, especially those who have struggled to settle into mainstream settings. The school emphasizes developing emotional regulation and readiness to learn, with facilities including outdoor play areas and staff-student group lunches.

Your new role

We are hiring a part-time 1-1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves working with pupils with diverse needs, with working hours from 08:30 to 12:00, Monday to Friday.

You will build trusting relationships with students, motivate them, and provide individual attention and reassurance as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
