Job summary

Aspire People is assisting in the recruitment of a Primary SEND Teacher for a partner specialist school in Northampton. The role focuses on delivering outstanding education for children with SEND, in a supportive environment that fosters academic, social and emotional growth.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have SEND teaching experience, and be passionate about inclusive education. Start date is September 2026 with a full-time contract on MPS/UPS pay scales.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Primary SEND Teacher – Northampton – Full Time – Salary: MPS/UPS – Start Date: September 2026

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Primary SEND Teacher to join our partner specialist school in Northampton. The role focuses on delivering outstanding education for children with special educational needs and disabilities, creating a supportive learning environment that encourages academic, social and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals
  • Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Contribute to the wider life of the academy and ongoing curriculum development
Qualifications and Experience
