Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in Huntingdon and surrounding villages, providing support across year groups both in 1-1 and small groups.

You will build confident relationships with children, including those with SEND, use a calm and empathetic approach and contribute to a positive learning environment. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school or similar setting within the last 3 years (6 months minimum).
• Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Have some experience of working with children with SEND.
• Have a genuine passion for working in education.
• Hold a full enhanced DBS clearance.
• Be able to provide two recent references to support your work with children.
• Please note, this is a full time role and access to a car is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1-1 or small group basis across year groups.
• Build positive relationships with children, including those with SEND, using a calm and empathetic approach.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and contribute to a safe learning environment.
